Krista Lockyer
Krista Lockyer, OTR/L Occupational Therapist (Midlothian office)
Hi! My name is Krista, and I am one of Small Talk's occupational therapists! I recently moved to Virginia from California, however I am originally from Connecticut. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!), and my Master's Degree at Bay Path University in Massachusetts. I have been a pediatric occupational therapist for most of my career so far, and I have absolutely loved it. I have worked with 4-month olds progressing their development, to 21-year olds transitioning into a more independent lifestyle - I enjoy all aspects of this population! I also carry into practice a large focus on self-care skills, developmental acquisition through play, and advocate the importance of mental health at all ages. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, crafting, trying out a new coffee place, and spoiling my dog Niya! I'm very excited to be a part of this team and look forward to meeting you all!
