Tomi Preston | Occupational Therapist Assistant/COTA

Tomi Preston, B.S., COTA/L is an occupational therapy assistant. She attended Radford University Carilion and received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in chronic illness from James Madison University (GO DUKES!!). Tomi has worked as a Developmental Specialist with Infant Toddler Connection in the surrounding area and has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses including autism, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, and fine-motor and gross-motor delays. She is very passionate about working in pediatrics and believes a child’s main occupation is P L A Y! Tomi grew up in McGaheysville, VA on her family poultry farm, but now resides in Grottoes, VA with her husband, daughter, and their beloved dogs Presley and Sully. When she is not at the clinic, Tomi enjoys spending time with her friends and family, keeping up with her daughter Harper, crafting, cooking, and being outside.

I also am scuba dive certified and will be going shark diving this summer in Hawaii!
